MERRY CHRISTMAS

Tis that time again. Where has the year gone? Have so many little things going on through the year that I forget to post as often as I want to. It's little things that don't mean much or interesting to others but it is busy stuff and don't want to bore everyone.

After 22+ inches of snow, we are again getting a light dusting today. Only about an inch or so. Suppose to get in the low 30's next weekend so we may melt some. They didn't plow our street completly so it is about 2/3's as wide as it should be. Guess that's why we pay over 2k in taxes! If we were younger, would move back south!!!!

Going to Ann's house for supper tonight (eve) then going to Kathy's on Christmas day. Sleep all day sunday from all the food! Other than that, nothing real exciting.

Everybody have a "GREAT AND MERRY CHRISTMAS" and if I don't post before, a "HAPPY NEW YEAR".

December 18th

After 22 inches of snow last saturday & -20 temps last week, 10 above feels good. Scraped snow off the roof yesterday & did some clean-up of the driveway, sidewalk & a place for Malley to do her business. Winter isn't even here yet!!

Not much here going on. Went out with friends last weekend for supper. All of us from the old van club. Was a good time & good food. Nice to see everyone again.

Santa will take a "dump" in the house this weekend. Putting up the tree & stuff. Gotta get in the spirit.

Burning up vacation days so only work 4 days a week the rest of the month. Won't know how to act when I go back to 5 days a week!

HI ALL

Been awhile since last post. Went to a Vikings game sunday with my brother-in-law. My first NFL game in person. Game went into overtime & the Vikings won. It was a nail biter!!! Really enjoyed myself. Better than watching on tv.

Not much new here. Having a birthday party for Lori & me this sunday afternoon. People from work, friends, relatives & even both my bosses are coming. Will have it in the garage & build a bonfire outside. Should be a good time! Put the bike to bed for it's winter hibernation. Don't expect any riding weather anymore. There will be next year.

Can't think of anything else off the bat. All take care till next time.

DID IT!!!!

Did the skydive saturday. From 10,000 feet & 180 miles an hour. WHAT A RUSH!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't jump from the plane saturday. It was to overcast so they weren't flying. Reschedualed for the 25th. Was really pumped!!!!!!!

Not much here. Lori went out to Colorado with her sister to visit her other sisters. I was a bachlor for a week & 1/2. Malley kept me good company!

Trying to get as much riding in as I can cause summer is about over. Not going to the ralley in Tomahauk this year. Suppose to be a wet/cold weekend.

Another Fest

This time we got to meet Collective Soul. As always, had a great time. Great food, good music & a couple drinks. As always FREE! Rained like crazy between acts but not during them. That was really nice. Late night for a couple old farts like us! This friday we got tickets to Country Jam. Sawyer Brown & Miranda Lambert. Cheap seats for this one, we're not a sponser.

After all these we get a rest before the family reunion. The same day of that, I have our company party we're going to. Glad I took monday off!!!!

July Is Here

Had a great time at Country Fest!! Did meet & greet with Jason Michael Carroll. Saw Little Big Town, Toby Keith & David Allen Coe. All front row seats. Got Jason to wear my cowboy hat on stage & so did Little Big Town. Jason signed it too. Now trying to sell the camper. Had some lookers but no money yet. Only been a week. In 2 weeks we got front row for Rock Fest. Going to see John Mellencamp. Will try to add some pics to this.

Other than that not much excitment. Been rainging so much & with weekend stuff haven't rode the bike alot. Things will slow down after these Fests & will have more time then! Got some hammock chairs for the deck just got to figure a way to hang them. Got some ideas just gotta figure out how.

Fathers Day

Got another great Harley shirt from my daughters. Love these!!!!! People ask me if I've been there & I say "how else would I get the shirt?"

Next weekend (26th) we have coperate for Toby Keith along with a camp site. Just found out we have corperate for Rock Fest, John Mellencamp! Will either e-mail pics or burn a cd for anyone who wants one. Like I said before, everything is free plus front row seats. Always a good time!!

Weather has finnaly broke so we'll go for a ride this afternoon. Been raining for the past 2 weeks! Taking the camper up this wednesday so between yeasterday & today getting outside stuff done & the camper ready. Already put it on Craigs List to sell. Get a jump on it.

Every weekend has been busy (air show with relatives, fest, etc), will be looking forward to one we can just sit around.

Just Here

The annual "UNDIE 500" is today. We ride from store to store buying & collecting underwear for the needy. We wear underwear on the outside of our clothes. Get alot of looks & donations. It's a great time & helps people who need it. Weather is very unstable so will wait to see at ride time.

Not much else happening. Got inlaws coming over the weekend of the 5th. The airshow is that weekend so should be fun. Can sit in our front yard or walk up a block & watch it.

Suppose to be hot & humid this week, temps in the 90's. Live with it!

Takes me awhile to remember to post. Get busy & forget to do it!

Again this year my work is a Corperate sponser for the fests. This year I got corperate passes for Toby Keith. They also got 6 campsites so I bought a used pop-up camper (will sell it afterwards) & got one of the camp sites. If you remember me saying in the past, these tickets are front row plus all your drinks, food (everything from prime rib to lobster) including breakfast, lunch, dinner & pizza after the last show plus reserved parking & it's all "FREE". Will post pics afterwards here.

Nothing real exciting here. Been out for a couple rides on the bike but weather hasn't been friendly for riding last couple weeks. Suppose to start getting better this weekend. Lori & Malley are doing good. Bought some pepper seeds I'm growing. One is called a "GHOST PEPPER" & is suppose to be the hottest one you can get. Anybody ready for some good chili?

Been Awhile

Busy or neglectful so haven't posted for awhile. Not much new here. Raining today so kind of gloomy out. Annual Bike Blessing is tommorrow so hoping it will clear up. The blessing doesn't hurt & do it every year so must help in some way!

Lori has her 15 year banquet next week so going to that thursday night. She dosen't know it but I took a vacation day that friday to get a hair cut. It's to the middle of my back now & summer is coming. No e-mails as I don't want her to know. She's been after me for awhile so want to surprise her when she comes home.

Just work & home other than a couple of rides. The yard work season is starting so lots to do. Got enough wood last year for the fire pit now just looking forward to time to enjoy it. Blue Angels are coming again this year for the Air Show. Took that friday off to make sure none of my windows break!

BEEN AWHILE

Time goes by so fast it's been over a month since I wrote anything. Hope people read it when I do.

Don't have the clock back yet. He took it on 12/08/09. Has it fixed just fine tuning it. Really miss the ticking & chimes. Will have to get used to it again!

Weather hasn't been real bad. Typical for February. Some cold, some warm & some snow. Just want to get out & ride again!

Work is a Country & Rock Fest sponser again. John Melancamp is at Rock & Toby Keith is at Country. They got 6 campsites so I'm either trying to rent or buy a camper. If I buy, will sell it right after so the price has to really be right. Otherwise either sleep in the truck or come home after. Got lots of time yet.

Not much new here. Just waiting for Spring!!!!!

Found out yeasterday that we are a Corperate Sponser for Rock & Country fest again this year. Also they reserved 6 campsites. Gotta find or rent a camper! Country Fest has Little Big Town, Toby Keith to mention a few. You can see the line up at countryfest.com. Might even get meet & greet for Toby. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Not much happing here. Still waiting for the clock to be fixed. He said it would be about another 1 1/2 months. Miss the chimes!!!!! Been really cold, below zero, but suppose to get back to the mid to upper 20's first part of the week, maybe even some 30's. Everyone is doing well. Can't wait to get back out & ride again. Ways away!!!
