November News

Just got home from my gun safety class. Now I can apply for my CCW Permit. May not ever use it but if I want to I can.

Lori has been walking on her foot but because the break was so low, the plate is bothering her but the doc said the bone is healed so they can take the plate out. That will be in a couple of months because of his schedule.

Put the bike up last weekend & today it is 61 dregrees!! Oh well, always next year & suppose to get colder from here on.

Really enjoyed having Jody (my daughter), Kaylen (granddaughter) & her dog Sasha stay with us for a week. Jody lives in NM & Kaylan is going to go to school in MPLS. Got her number to let her know when holiday & family events occur so she can come over.

Labor Day

Lori still has her cast on, it comes off this friday along with the stitches. She is adapting good but still can't do steps. Gives you a whole different outlook on handicap accessable places! She had her familey reunion last week in northern Minessota. I went up last saturday then came back that monday. Picked her up at her sisters house this weekend. Good time was had by all.

Not much new here. Had a little ceramony yeasterday & put the Vikings flag out. It's only a game but you gotta have fun with it!! Lori is off work for probably another 2 weeks. I still have to slave away!!!

Back to work tommorrow, oh well.

Hey All

As most of you know, we put Malley to sleep last satuday (16th). He hips were really bothering her, she couldn't control her poddying when we wern't home. She was 11 years old & life expentancy for that breed is 10 years so she lived a hapy & spoiled life. Still not used to her not being here but we believe it was better for her as she was in pain & we yhink there may have been more problems that she had. 6 months to a year, maybe a smaller dog.

It has been "HOT" here for almost a week now. Temps in the mid to upper 90's with heat indexes above 100+. Suppose to start getting better this weekend. Hope so!!

Country Fest 2011

Again, great food, friends, music & drink. If Lady Antebellum ever comes to your area, GO!!! " FANTASTIC SHOW "! They get you moving. Did meet & greet with Josh Turner, saw Bucky Covington & Clay Walker. Great time!

Not much else exciting going on. Day here, a day there. Had an offer for the bike that night & turned it down. Great offer but it's our baby & fun togeather.

I know, been awhile but just little stuff going on & didn't want to bore you.

Haven't had the bike out much because of weather & only went golfing once. Still got time though as it's abit early in the summer.

Found out today we get Corporate Passes for Contry Fest again this year. Go to Google, type in Contry Fest & click on the Caddot location to see the line-up. Only got General for Rock Fest as we have double the employees now. Something is better than nothing!

Going to Lori's family reunion in northern Minnesota the end of August. I'm just going for the weekend then pick up Lori in the Cities the next saturday. I'm the "OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAHER"!! Should be a good time!

ANOTHER MONTH

Got teased with warm weather & today it's snowing! Can't win. Got the bike ready for some riding now just waiting for the weather. 2 weeks ago on saturday it was 80 but storms in the area keept me from the first ride. Besides, still alot of sand on the roads. Hurt my back again last weekend so recovering from that. About every 2 years I do something stupid! Went to a concert with friends last friday. Tonic Sol Fa. Great show!! It's all accapela, no insterments & they pick on one person through the whole show. Didn't think I would like it but they really mixed it up & it was fantastic. If you here of them coming, go see them. Everyone doing well here. Go to the Cities the 26th-27th for work training. They got me a room so I don't have to drive back & forth. My boss told me he had phone numbers for call girls! My age, I either couldn't keep up or I'd fall asleep before!!!! That's it for now, more boring stuff next month. dan

Hi All!

Went to a friends house for a get to geather last night (friday) & one of my friends told me that a guy I meet at the Tomahauk Rally is coming up this summer so we're going to plan a weekend trip on our bikes along the Michagan river. Leave on a friday, come back on a sunday & just see the sights. Stay someplace different each night. Hope it pans out!!!!

Not much new here. Since my brother-in-law put my skydive on YouTube I've had over a hundred hits! Didn't know I knew that many people or had that many relatives!! Pretty cool!

Weather has been up & down. Just waiting for riding season to start! Shouldn't be long now, first day of Spring tommorrow.

Not much here. Still just waiting for riding weather! Everyone is doing fine. Boring news but shopped insurance & changing all that over. You just get the bill, pay it, and don't think twice. Found we can save alot with another reliable company. Check things out!!

We're Still Here

No big dramatic news this month. Been really nice out but getting ready for another 12+ inches of snow today & tommorrow. Only gets better from here!!

My brother-in-law is working on getting my skydive on You Tube. Says it should be on there this week. Will let you know where to go to watch it if he makes it happen. The more hits, the more famous I'll be so spread the site & I'll share.

Can't wait for the cold to leave & get the bike back out. Gotta get a new battery this year. Checked prices, almost $100.00!! CRAZY!!!!!!! Wanna ride guess you pay the price. It's gell filled rather than acid so it cost more.

Otherwise, all is well. Other than the boring stuff no one wants to read. Will do another post next month. Hopefully it will be more excititing!!

Here we are with a new year ahead. Hope this year brings all a good & better life!

Went out with friends on New Years Eve. I actually stayed awake past midnight!! Back in the early 70's the band I was with, the drummer started a new group about 8 years ago & they were playing that night so we got togeather & went to see them. We know a couple people in the band from back in the day so it was a good time. My cousin Sally was there so we swapped stories & tonges at midnight! Had a small ice storm that night so getting there was tough but coming home was fine.

Been getting about 1-2" of snow every other day this week. Can't wait till it's gone & back riding again. They only plow our street if there is over 3" of snow.

Not much else here. Been just laying low after the holidays & resting back up. Us "OLD FARTS" you know!
